Santeria, Religion of 80% of Latin America

Santeria is a system of beliefs that merges aspects of Yoruba mythology that were brought to the New World by enslaved Yoruba people, along with Christianity and Indigenous American traditions. The Yoruba people carried with them various religious customs, including a trance and divination system for communicating with their ancestors and deities, animal sacrifice, and sacred drumming and dance. The need to preserve their traditions and belief systems in a hostile cultural environment prompted those enslaved in Cuba, starting from as early as 1515, to merge their customs with aspects of Roman Catholicism.

    • A misconception about Santería is that it’s a polytheistic religion, or one that worships many gods. This isn’t strictly true. There is one supreme God in the Lucumí pantheon, who like the Holy Trinity of the Catholic Church, has three representations and three names: Olodumare, Olofi, and Olorun. Olodumare is the Supreme Being, the Father, the Creator of all things in the universe. Olorun is another manifestation of God, visible to us as the Sun. Through the warmth and life-giving qualities of the Sun, we can experience the world that Olodumare created for us. Olorun is the owner of Heaven, known as Orun. Olofi is the third manifestion of God. He is the one who communicates most directly with the Orichas, teaching them what humans need to know to lead healthful, moral, respectful lives on Earth.

FACTS about what is REAL and what is imagined will blow the minds of the common person on the street. One instance is the presence of Working ZOMBIES in Haiti, they work slowly, but they do NOT have to be paid. These walking DEAD never ask their masters for anything. When they fall down and can’t get back up, another is dug up from graveyards and takes their place. There can be major consequences when a former Priest or Priestess is dug up and they WILL rebel.

In Latin America, you never know when you will cross the path of Evil Practitioners rather than those wanting to do good. ANOTHER FACT: For the Right PRICE you can BUY the assistance of most Santeras.
